This Monday's challenge at the Papertrey Ink blog is called "Reflected Sentiments". Click here to see the video tutorial by Betsy.
What a great technique to learn. So easy and such a neat effect for cards. It definitely gives the recipient of the card pause to think "how did she do that". I love that!!
I used the "Holiday Photo Finishers" stamp set from Papertrey Ink. All paper and ink are PTI as well.
Making this card really got me in the holiday mood. I had to tell myself it was a little too early to start thinking about Christmas. But maybe not to early to start planning my Christmas cards.

"Lost and Found Halloween" Mini Album
Happy Monday everyone. It's my day to post on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.
Today I have a mini album to share with you. I was so inspired by the beautiful Lost and Found Halloween papers by My Mind's Eye. My project started as a card and evolved to a series of cards and then to a mini album. Sometimes I just can't make up my mind.

This album came together really fast and easy. You don't need to over embellish a mini album when the papers are so gorgeous.
I made a quick video showing all the pages. At the end of the video is a quick little tutorial on how to use a die cut as a stencil with distress ink.

Make It Monday #82
As Monday at 9:00 am approached, I anxiously waited for the MIM post from PTI to appear on my iPad. 9:01 am I clicked on Nicole's blog and read the much anticipated title of the new stamping technique I was about to learn. This week's title "Cutting Stamps". WHAT?!? Click here to see the MIM video.
To my horror I watched as Erin Lincoln CUT UP A STAMP to achieve a new and different look from an older stamp set. I couldn't believe what she was doing. And then I realized in order to participate in this week's challenge...I must too...CUT UP A STAMP!!
How was I to cut up my much beloved PTI stamps? Which precious stamp would I ruin beyond repair? Then I thought, if Erin could be brave and cut up a stamp (and she assured me, it wouldn't wreck the stamp) I could be brave too.
So I embarked upon the daunting task of selecting my stamp. And to my surprise I found several stamps I debated cutting. Hilarious!!
I ended up cutting a sentiment stamp in two. I have used this sentiment from the "Happy Trails" stamp set before and even thought before "I wish this sentiment was in two parts. One for the outside of the card and one for the inside." Walla - stamp cut, no hurt feelings, and a better, more versatile stamp in the end.
Here are my cards. I made two with the same stamps, just different color combos and paper.
Hope you were inspired to cut your stamps too. It wasn't so bad in the end.

"Doodlebug" Baby Girl Fridge Frame
Happy Monday everyone!
Today I have a sweet little project to share with you. I made this fridge frame for a friend of mine who just had twin daughters. She has been taking a ton of pictures of these sweet little darlings, so I thought it would be a great idea to gift these frames to here. The great thing is that you can easily take the pictures in and out for a quick change.

Here is my take on the "Back to School" theme. I created two cards to welcome back my daughter's two preschool teachers. I just love the sentiment "What an adventure!". Doesn't that just some up a school year.
