"The Sweetest Thing" Card

Happy Monday friends.

Today is my day to post for the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I created these cards using just 3 pieces of 6x6 paper. Sometimes when I'm creating a card, its much easier to make a second card right away because you already have the layout figured out! For these cards I cut two sheets at 4.25 inches. I used the scrap paper as the other cards layer. Flip flop - two cards done just as fast as one.

The stamps I used for these cards are from the same paper line. And I LOVE how the flowers stamp. Just amazing. And the sentiments are great!!

"Portrait" Time card

Good day fellow crafters.

I'm sharing a card I made today using the Crate Paper "Portrait" collection. I bought this paper line ages ago from Shop Pumpkin Spice online craft store. I liked the paper so much I got the matching trim and sticker embellishments too. I just love being inspired by paper and making a quick card using everything from a paper line.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:

Pumpkin Spice Blog : Time (word or element that implies time)

and

Mojo Monday: sketch challenge

The sentiment I used on my card is from Papertrey Ink. Have a wonderful week everyone.

Make it Monday #106

This week's challenge at the Papertrey Ink blog is : two-toned flowers. The video tutorial shows how to take a simple flower stamp and stamp it with two colors of ink for a really neat effect.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I'm not much of a purple person, but I've wanted to create some cards recently for some purple people and I had no purple paper! Shocking right??
So I got the
  and
ink and cardstock.

I set to work with my new "Cutting Garden" stamp set
Cutting Garden Stamp Set
from the February release (and matching dies) along with my favorite
Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set
"Beautiful Butterfly" stamp set.

This was a really fun color scheme to work with, including my favorite

 and
  and
for the two-toned leaves.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Have a great weekend.

"Cakewalk" Card Set

It's so wonderful to see you again crafty friends.

Today is my day to post on the Pumpkin Spice Blog. I am happy to share with you a set of cards I created using the October Afternoon "Cakewalk" 8x8 paper pad. The quality of this paper is just amazing. And I love how the papers are loose, so you can move them around to see how they go together.

When I started looking through these paper I immediately thought of my grandma. These papers are just her style; vintage with a hint of whimsy and pastel colors. So I decided to make her this set of cards. The die cuts are from "A Child's Year" Cricut cartridge. Each image reminds me of something I would have done at my grandma's house ages ago.

Each of the cards measure 4x4.

In these cards I used twine as an embellishment.
All of the layers of paper are popped up with dimensional tape.
It looks really neat in person.

Here I used enamel dots as my embellishments.
These die cuts really hit home. We would play dress-up and rocking horse all the time!!

And of course, my new obsession...
...making matching envelopes with everything.
Here I made kraft envelopes and used scraps of patterned paper on the edge.

"Shop Pumpkin Spice" March Blog Hop

Happy Saturday and welcome to the March Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop.

This month we are creating things for the challenge : use green and 4 of something. With St. Patrick's Day this month, the only thing I could think of was four leaf clovers!! I gathered all my green paper and embellishments and my Cricut and got to work. I created a door hanging for my front door!

I used 4 squares for the wall hanging.
And 4 big clovers.
And 4 small clovers per square.
Oh, and 4 green brads.

Luck of the Irish hat of course.

I can say "Kiss Me I'm Irish" cause I am Irish!

And a pot of gold at the end of the door hanging.
