We R Memory Keepers Guest Designer

I am so excited! Today I am the guest designer over at the We R Memory Keepers Blog

I was sent the Storytime paper collection and told to make something great. Using the Envelope Punch Board I created this mini album. Aren't the papers so cute!

Here's the cover of the mini album!

Check out my video tutorial on how I created this mini album.

Head on over to the We R Memory Keepers Blog and see my entire post. It was such a privilege to create a project for this great company.

"Our Farm Tales" Board Book

Hello everyone! It's my turn to post over at the Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I have such a fun project to share with you today!

If your kids are anything like mine, the moment you start crafting, they want to be a part of the project your making. "Mommy can I help?" "Mommy can I use that paper too?" "Mommy can I sit on your lap?". It's so sweet, but sometimes when mom is in a hurry, I have to get them started on their own project. So when I got some Bo Bunny 6x6 board books in the mail, I knew I wanted to create a book with my kids! They were thrilled with the idea too.

I started by cutting out some white computer paper into 4x4 squares. With my kids advice, I stamped some fun farm scenes using the Penny Black stamps "Mimi's Farm". I assembled each page with some paper and a journaling tag. Then I had my kids "tell me the story" for each page. It was hilarious what the kids came up with!! Now we have a fun book to read that we made together.

With a black pen I added some detailing to each scene.
Then I wrote their "tales" onto the journaling tag.

And I colored each picture with some colored pencils.
The initials on each tag is the kid who "wrote" the tale.

The pig page was written by my daughter.
"Piggly Squiggs squiggles her tail so hard she rolls over & over. She likes her home. Riding home."
My son asked what the box was below the fence in the chicken picture. I told him it was a water trough. He thought otherwise.
"The chicken likes to jump on the trampoline. The sheep came to jump too."

"Buck the Duck is walking around with no such thing. The chicks are following behind. The rooster says 'Duck-a-doodle-doo'!"

"Purple Milk Cow is picking grass. She likes to stare at people."
"These sheep kept jumping over the fence until every one of them poked their feet.'
