"Our Secret Family Recipe" Trifold Card

Hello everyone and a happy Monday to you all. I hope you're all enjoying this amazing warm weather sweeping the nation. My kiddos and I are outside everyday playing and getting the yard ready. I feel like our summer vacation is just weeks away. I have to remind myself that it's only March!! Haha.

Living in Wisconsin we are always waiting for the "snow to drop" so to speak. Even though it's in the 80s, it could be snowing by tomorrow. So we are soaking up these warm weather days.

I was so inspired by this amazing paper pack from Best Creations. It has glitter pages on one side and plainer paper on the other side. So it crosses both the glitzy and the simple crafter. Love that!!

With this paper pack and some embellishments I created this "Our Secret Family Recipe" trifold card. Inside I created mini recipe cards to fill with some of my favorite recipes. What a great card idea that is like a mini gift.

Front of the card.

Inside to write a special something.

Trifold card open fully. The tiny paper clips hold the recipe cards in place. There is a card on the backside too.

"Always Together" Anniversary Card

Hello everyone and happy Monday! It's my turn for another Pumpkin Spice Blog post.

I made this card for my hubby. Our anniversary is coming up soon. I can't believe it's been six years. My husband is really good at getting a really heartfelt card. And then he writes something super romantic inside. This year I'm getting a head start so I can be the one to write something heartfelt and romantic inside. I better just copy a poem!!

PTI Make it Monday Challenge #56

This week's Make it Monday challenge over at Papertrey Ink is "Die Cutting Partial Images".

It was a tricky challenge but Betsy's explanation is very easy to follow. I just loving learning all these new techniques. Thanks PTI.

I used a Fillable Frames die and lengthened the edges so it would be more like the Christmas Label die.

March Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Welcome to my stop for the March Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop. If you came from Saundra's oh so amazing blog you are in the right spot. If not, start from the beginning of the hop at Pumpkin Spice Blog.

The theme for our blog hop is "Boy Crazy"!! We are featuring the new March Card Kit also entitled "Boy Crazy". It's amazing. Want to win it? Just enter the challenge. --> Make a card, layout, altered item that represents "boy crazy". It can be boyfriend, husband, son, etc. Have fun with it! Use at least one circle, twine, and at least one button. Enter your creation at the Pumpkin Spice Blog and you get the chance to win the April Kit.

I am boy crazy for my little man! He just turned 5 and I can't believe how much he ages and matures everyday. He loves playing games, building with his dad, and cooking with mom. I made these two little gable boxes for him. I told him the boxes are for all his little treasures he wants to keep safe from his sister. It took him 2 minutes to fill them up with marbles and gum!

These boxes are cut from Core'dinations Vintage cardstock using the new Cricut cartridge "Tags Bags Boxes and More 2". I cut the gable boxes at the recommended 5.5 inches.

My little man loves skateboards. I just love the embellishment stickers from the Echo Park "A Boy's Life" collection. So boyish and adorable.

See on the side. I used a circle, button, and twine all in one spot. Am I entered into the challenge??
