Banner Flag Tip

Hi everyone. Hope you are enjoying this summertime weather.

Here's a quick tip on how to create a flag banner instantly. I saw this tip/technique ages ago on some brilliant paper crafter's blog, but I cannot remember who. So, thanks whoever, because I use this technique a lot.

Ahh, this is my first video ever!
Please excuse the tape on the table, I thought I was being clever.

Here's the finished insta card. Happy Birthday Dad!

We are so excited to introduce a brand new MPS stamp kit! It's called the "Yankee Doodles" Image Stamp Kit. Check it out!! Right in time for The 4th of July.

Aren't these stamps adorable. And really versatile. The ProMarkers and cardstock match so perfectly for any project.

I created a festive 4th of July necklace for my kiddos to wear at the parade! I love the 4th of July, probably one of my favorite holidays. I just love getting all dressed up.

Here my son is showing off his necklace. He's getting really excited for the fireworks.

A close up of the stamps. I added some Stickles around the edges for some pizzazz.

My girlfriend Queena came over and we made SEVEN cards between the two of us!! We just busted out my PTI box of paper, bag of inks, and crate of stamps (what? a hoarding problem with PTI supplies you say? me?....um yes I do) and went to town.

Here are my three cards.

"A Boy's Life" Folded Wallet Picture Holder

Happy Monday to you all. I've got another post for the fabulous Pumpkin Spice Blog.

I've been addicted to making these little folded wallet picture holders. It's such an easy insta gift! And with the Pumpkin Spice kits and complete paper collections available, it is soo easy to have everything match and work perfectly together.

I started out with two 12x12 pieces of cardstock from the Echo Park "A Boy's Life" collection. After folding and creasing and die cutting my project was almost done. (Click here to see my complete photo tutorial on how to make this project.) I embellished the outside and inside with some stickers, stamps and twine and then I was done. Each one can hold 4 wallet size photos. Perfect for a mom or grandma to carry around pictures of their little kiddos.

Front of the picture holder. Aren't the embellishments perfect for this project.

Twine from the front wraps around to the back. I layered these buttons from my stash and attached then with foam dimensionals. The twine wraps around the buttons and keeps the holder closed.

The photos slip in from the top. Here I embellished the inside with stickers from the collection.

Here I used stamps from MPS to embellish the inside.

Make It Monday #70 : Puffed Fabric Accents

Hello my darlings. I've been a crafting fool lately but haven't had a chance to blog it all. I actually made a card for my grandmother's birthday and forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to her. Don't you just hate that!!!

Anyway, here's my take on the Papertrey Ink "Make It Monday" challenge found here. All of my supplies are from Papertrey Ink. The fabric is from my stash. I wish I could own all the PTI ink pads because I know the Simply Chartreuse isn't the best match. Oh well. My main medallion stamp was stamped in Aqua Mist ink and then just the edges were stamped with New Leaf ink. I love stamping with multiple ink colors.

The center of the flower doesn't look very "puffed" in the photo, but it stands out really nice in real life.

Thanks for checking out my card. Be sure to enter my giveaway by clicking here. I'll be picking winners on July 1st.

Easy Peasy PTI Cards

I created some really fast and easy cards using supplies from Papertrey Ink. I love taking my bin of PTI stuff and coming up with a quick design. Then I made 3 cards of each design. Simple. Wrap the cards with a bow and it's a quick gift.

Here I used a stamping & layering technique found here. Then I colored the center of the flowers with Copic markers.

I just love this super adorable farm set.

"On the Bright Side" of Lunch

Good morning everyone. I'm well rested after a relaxing weekend with glorious weather. Me and the kiddos were outside all weekend. And that fresh air just never gets old.

I've another post for the Pumpkin Spice Blog. This time I was inspired by a stamp set from My Pink Stamper. It's called "Lunchbox Thoughts" and the set contains a TON of adorable sayings that any mom would love to tuck into their son/daughter's lunch box for school. Some of my favorite sayings are "You're the Greatest Kid Ever" and "I Believe In You". Isn't that sweet!!

So I thought I would make a couple of lunchbox tags. I was also inspired by my bin of punches! Every shape on these tags was cut by a punch. It was a really quick and fun project.

Supplies:

 MME - BRIGHT SIDE1 PAPER PAD 6X6
My Mind's Eye "On the Bright Side" One
6x6 paper pad
found here for $4.19

My Pink Stamper Stamps: Lunchbox Thoughts

"Lunchbox Thoughts"
found here for $16.50

 Bazill KRAFT CARDSTOCK 8.5"X11
Bazill Kraft cardstock
found here for $0.28 per sheet

label punch

My son is going to kindergarten in the fall and I can't believe it! I'm sure I'll be making more of these special little tags to put in his lunch. What a sweet way to say "I love you" to your child when they are away at school.

Have a great week. I hope the weather is good where you are. And if not, I hope you get some crafting time for yourself.
