PTI Challenge and MIM

Hey everyone. Hope you're having a super great week.

I made a card to enter in both the Make It Monday #88 challenge "Positive and Negative Die Cuts". Click here to see this great technique video by Erin Lincoln.

The October blog hop challenge was to create a project using a non-traditional holiday color scheme. There are some amazing color schemes that I'm gonna have to save and put in my pocket for later. Click here to read about the challenge and check out the color schemes.

I chose the following color scheme:

This is my take on both the MIM challenge and the blog hop challenges combined.

The side view is showing that I did the negative die cut technique twice. I'm really loving this technique. So easy, but gives a lot of depth to a project.

  1. Great holiday card, Carissa! I love your stacked buttons with twine bow!

  2. What a great card, love the MIM technique.

  3. Great use of the colors and the technique.

  4. Great card. Especially your placement of the elements. So clean and fresh. The dot paper card from the aqua paper pack is genius!

  5. Love this - I will admit I didn't notice the negative die cut until I saw the second photo - love that technique!

I just love reading all your comments! Thank you!
