Metal Dies: Christmas tree, holly leaf, and tag

To get the 3D Christmas tree and holly leaf effect, I cut three layers of each (using a die and Cuttlebug) and sewed them together straight down the middle. Then I creased the paper to give it a 3D look. Super easy, but it gives the card a really great look.

Hope you're inspired along this hop! Next stop is the crazy talented June.

  1. I love that 3D card and tag; wonderful tree embellies you created!

  2. Carissa, I love your 3D Christmas trees! Such a great idea!! ~Hugs, Saundra :)

  3. Hope you don't mind if I borrow this technique! I'm dusting off my sewing machine to learn how to stitch on cards and this would be a great 1st project!! Beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Oh! I love your Christmas Card and tag. 3D folding is one of my favorite techniques. I haven't bought from Pumpkin Spice before so thought I would check out this shop hop. Looks like I know where to get some new supplies. Thanks for your post.
