12 Days of Cricut : Day #8 - Tic-Tac-Toe Bingo

Today I'm sharing a really fun and cute game that I made using a couple of my favorite Xmas cartridges.

My kiddos really love playing this game. It's good for matching and for learning how to connect three in a row. And my kids play that if you win you get to eat a Hersey's Kiss. We've went through a whole bag already. Hehe.

12 Days of Cricut : Day #3 - Tags

Oh my goodness, are you back for some more?

Today I'm showing you how I created a set of sweet Christmas tags. I love making my own tags for the holidays. Just an easy way to bring a little bit of my own crafty flare to each gift I give.

Don't those snowflakes just make the tag!

And the mittens look so snugly.

SPS October Blog Hop

Hello hoppers! Happy Saturday to you all.

Welcome to the Shop Pumpkin Spice December blog hop. This month all the design team ladies are using the SPS December Kit "Wonderland Fun" to create their projects. As you've seen along the hop, this kit is full of amazing papers and embellishments for the season. It's the perfect kit to make some adorable creations and it's the perfect kit to give as a gift.

With this kit I created a set of Christmas tree goodies: a 4x4 card, a gift bag and a tag. The papers in this kit are so whimsical, I knew I needed to create a whimsical project. The tree cuts are from the "Joys of the Season" Cricut cartridge. To create the center gift bag, I traced one of the white paper bags that come with the kit, and trimmed the silver cardstock to fit. Then I adhered the silver cardstock to both sides and layered the snowflake paper on top. This made the bag really sturdy and able to stand up. Then I punched some holes through the top and threaded the ribbon right through. So easy and so adorable.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop. Here's the order in case you get lost.

"Portrait" Paper Wedding Card

My family and I have been battling some wicked sicknesses this last week. We've all taken our fare share of down days. My poor kiddos are so brave when they're sick, but man is it heart breaking to watch them. Needless to say my craft room has been empty this week!

I made this wedding card several weeks a go for the sweetest couple!

The love birds are from the Joys of the Seasons Cricut cartridge. The "I Do" sentiment is from the Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge. I cut both out in the base and shadow cuts.

I used the Crate Paper "Portrait Collection" 12x12 paper kit from Shop Pumpkin Spice. The paper has this amazing vintage feel. And the sticker embellishments have a ton of options from wedding, to travel, to everyday journaling. I just love this paper kit!

 Portrait Collection Kit 12\"X12\"
Click here to order the kit for $11.20.

 Portrait Trims 4/Pkg
Click here to order the 4 trim pack for $3.50.

Supplies:
Cricut cartridges: Joy of the Seasons, Lacy Labels, and Tie the Knot
Paper: Crate Paper "Portrait Collection"
Embellishments: Crate Paper "Portrait Collection" trim, rhinestones, black brad
Stamps: Papertrey Ink "Beautiful Blessings", Stampin Up "Love"
Black chalk ink

I just adore making wedding cards for couples in love. I remember my wedding day and all the blessings and joy I felt. When my husband and I opened our cards the next day, I remember crying over what people had written. All their thoughts and prayers meant so much to us. I still have every card we received for our wedding. I just can't part with them!

January Layout Challenge Accepted

I got my Cricut Expression machine this past Christmas 2010 from my mom. Thanks mom!!! And I have been obsessing over anything Cricut and paper crafting since. I loved to stamp and make cards before (I have 3 drawers full of Stampin' Up stamps to prove it) but the Cricut has made my paper crafting life a breeze. And did I mention obsession!!
One of the first blogs that I started to follow was Creations with Christina. I love that girl. Such beautiful cards and layouts and inspirational ideas. It was the beginning of the year and she challenged her followers to do a scrap layout for each month of the year. I accepted this challenge and you will be seeing my creations.
Please forgive these first tries at layouts. I had just gotten my Cricut and was experimenting big time.
Not sure where I will put a picture LOL. Isn't that penguin just the cutest!! I used a tulle ribbon for part of the background to give it some dimension. Gotta love all the rhinestone bling.
Shortly after getting my Cricut I got my Gypsy. The word "January" has been welded together.
