I am getting so excited for the upcoming holiday season! I've been rummaging through some of my Christmas papers from last year and found the My Mind's Eye "Winter Wonderland" collection. I just love the colors and fun patterns. I quickly pumped out these six tags. I just love making a cute tag, quick and easy, so then I can make a lot in a short amount of time. So great!!
I am getting excited for the kiddos to head back to school tomorrow. I'm excited for the fall weather that will be coming soon. Anybody else a lover of fall?
Today I'm posting over at the Pumpkin Spice Blog. This week's challenge is anything goes. So click here to uplink your project and be entered into this weeks drawing.
Here is my take on challenge:
Supplies
My Mind's Eye "The Sweetest Thing" Honey 6x6 paper pad
Hello fellow paper crafters! Today is my turn to post on the Pumpkin Spice Blog.
Today I'm sharing a card I whipped out using the My Mind's Eye "The Sweetest Thing" paper line and embellishments. I'm one of those paper crafters that falls in love with a paper line and buys almost EVERYTHING from that line. It becomes the "go to" thing that I use when making cards or whatever. Those papers and such sit on my desk and I am constantly reaching for them. It's always worth it to buy it ALL because eventually I use every last morsel. Do you do that too?
I am still so totally obsessed with anything hexagon and it's usually the first paper to go.
Don't you love the soft pink hexagons? That's a stamp! Now all my projects can be loaded with hexagons!
Have a wonderful day everyone! Don't forget to participate in this weeks challenge at the Pumpkin Spice Blog : challenge is SUMMER!! How fun and easy is that. Get your submissions posted.
Happy Monday everyone. Today is my day to post at the Pumpkin Spice Blog. This week's challenge is sports!
As I was rummaging through my pile of 6x6 paper pads, I came across my favorite winter themed collection "Winter Wonderland" by My Mind's Eye. Suddenly, my head became flooded with winter themed sports. I came across this adorable cut from the Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge.
Here's my card.
I added some black pen detailing around her for a little more definition.
Welcome to the Pumpkin Spice Blog hop. We are celebrating National Scrapbooking Day with a Pumpkin Spice Blog hop all day long. Each stop has a challenge and a coupon code. See all the details below.
Today my post is all about WASHI TAPE. The amazing stuff that is versatile and colorful and decorative and useful and sticky but not too sticky. Yup, I love me some washi tape.
I created two projects to share with you. The first is a 3D paper box that I cut with my Cricut and decorated with washi tape.
The second are these are two cards I made using the washi tape as both decorative and functional. The bottom layer of tape is holding the pocket together to create the envelope.
Here is a video showing how I created these projects!
I hope you were inspired by some of these creations. There are so many different ways to use washi tape, so many techniques, that I could do a whole video series about it.
In celebration of National Scrapbooking Day we'd love to offer you a coupon for 10% off your entire purchase at Shop Pumpkin Spice. Just enter the Coupon Code NSD5.
And be sure to enter the washi tape challenge at Pumpkin Spice Blog. The prize for each challenge winner is $20 gift certificate to the store!!
Now hop along to your next stop, the very talented Heather.
Today I'm sharing a mini album that I created using the My Mind's Eye "Sweetest Thing" collection. I'm just in love with the pinks and yellows in this collection. Gorgeous papers!
This mini album is inspired by the book binding / mini album making designs of one super talented Laura Denison. My favorite thing about this album is that you can use the patterned paper of a 6x6 paper pad and put it together SO QUICKLY.
Here is a video I created showing how to make the covers and pages and how to bind the mini album together.
