Hooray! We made it! This is the last project I'm sharing with you this year. Woof - it's been a process getting all these projects and videos complete, but I'm so happy to have finished my goal.
Isn't Santa so sweet looking!
I hope I've inspired you with my Christmas creations. It was so fun sharing this time with you. I've had a blast making these things with you. My poor Cricut is tuckered out!
Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas. And a Happy New Year!
I've seen this project time and time again on Pinterest and I've been dying to try it. It was sooo easy using the Cricut to cut out these cute little leaves.
This project was really fun to make, because I made this with my kiddos!! They had an absolute blast "helping mom with her Cricut videos". I always try to have something that the kids can do if I'm busy in my craft room. And my son's an expert at loading and unloading the Cricut and taking my pieces off the mat. Thanks buddy!!
Here's mommy's version of the same gingerbread house.
Inside you can see one of those battery powered candles.
Today I'm sharing a really fun and cute game that I made using a couple of my favorite Xmas cartridges.
My kiddos really love playing this game. It's good for matching and for learning how to connect three in a row. And my kids play that if you win you get to eat a Hersey's Kiss. We've went through a whole bag already. Hehe.
Alrighty friends. Christmas is less then 10 days away!! I'm getting so excited. And it's really great this year because my kiddos are getting excited too. It's so amazing to watch the holidays through their eyes.
Today I'm sharing a Christmas wreath that I created using the "12 Days of Christmas" ornaments from the Joys of the Season cartridges. Love it!!
I hope your inspired to make some Christmas home decor projects too.
We are going strong for day #5. I love making handmade gifts at Christmas. Obviously. But I also like to make the packaging that it comes in. Here is a video showing how I made a Christmas gift box. Gotta love those Cricut project carts - they make life so easy!!
My mother-in-law saw this box and I'm pretty sure she was trying to put it in her purse! Haha.
I'm so excited to share with you this fun craft today. I created an interactive nativity set for my kiddos to play with. They really love it!! And it was fun to make too.
This is a pretty long video, but it's full of Gypsy tips and tricks on how to cut out a lot of layered cuts. I also show how to use the Hide/Contour feature.
After putting the magnets on the backs of each character,
I attached everything to this metal baking sheet I bought at IKEA.
How adorable is this family!
Stayed tuned for more. And don't forget to participate in my giveaways. The papers are so lovely!! I know you'll love to win them.
I may have put too much on my plate this month, but I'm loving all the time I'm spending in my craft room. And I'm creating some great gifts for my family.
Here's a picture of the cover of my December Daily.
This is the one craft project that at the end of the month, I get to keep!! Thank goodness. I've been keeping up with taking a picture everyday and keeping track of what we've been doing!
Are any of you doing a December Daily? Any tips and tricks on how to make it successful??
Today I'm showing you how I created a set of sweet Christmas tags. I love making my own tags for the holidays. Just an easy way to bring a little bit of my own crafty flare to each gift I give.
Hello friends. I'm happy you've stopped by again to see what I've made with my Cricut.
Today I've created a lovely Christmas garland! I'm really into making my own holiday decor this year. It's so much cheaper and easier and you can make exactly what you want. Perfect!
Here's my garland all hung up on my mantel.
It just needs some stockings hung by the chimney with care!
Don't forget to participate in my giveaways. One ends tomorrow, so get commenting.
This year I've set a goal for myself of creating 12 Cricut Christmas projects to share with you. I just love using my Cricut! And I'm excited to challenge myself into making 12 different projects for Christmas.
For my first project I'd like to share with you a snowflake silhouette. The Cricut has a ton of amazing cartridges that can cut out snowflakes. My favorite is Winter Lace. It can cut a variety of different snowflakes, has a shadow feature and can cut 3D snowflakes.
Here is a quick video tutorial on how I cut these out.
Here are my snowflakes all cut out.
The detail really shows up once they are cut at a large size.
Using my ATG gun, I ran some adhesive at the pointed edge of each flake. Then I hung them up on the large bay window in my family room.
Look at how adorable they are on the window.
And you can see them from the outside too!
I'll probably cut a ton more out over the next week. They turned out soooo cute. And my kiddos were obsessing over having some in their room and hanging them on the front door. Whew!
According to www.mycutsearch.com there are 53 cartridges that can cut snowflakes. And most of those cartridges have more than 1 type of snowflake. That's a lot of flakes!!
Stay tuned for much more Christmas crafty videos to come. And stay tuned for the 4 giveaways I'm doing this month. One each week!!
I'm so glad you're back again today. I have another mini album to share with you. This one is called a "Matchbook Mini" and it's inspired by the creations of Laura Denison. This mini was a delight to create and it didn't take very long. I followed all the instructions from Laura's blog. Click here to read her blog post and follow along with her simple instructions.
The paper that I used to create this mini is the My Mind's Eye "All is Bright" paper line. This paper and all the embellishments are just beautiful! I loved the soft vintage colors and the chevron and hexagon accents.
Don't forget to pick up the December card kit "Wonderland Fun" found here. It's a great kit to have to create some super delightful Christmas projects. It's also the perfect gift to give that crafter that loves loves loves beautiful paper!
Come back later this week for some Christmas projects and for some giveaways. See you then!!
Happy Monday everyone! Can you believe it's already December? I know right. How did this happen?
Well I've been in full Christmas crafty mode for some time now. Ever since the new Christmas paper lines have come out, I've been a crafting fool. You can never have too many cards, tags, mini albums, or projects on hand. You never know when you'll need an instant gift or goodie.
Today I've created a Christmas mini album using the "Lost and Found" Christmas paper line by My Mind's Eye. The main component of this mini is created using envelopes. Here is a video tutorial on how I created this mini.
To create this album I used the following measurements:
8 large envelopes (71/4" by 5 1/4")
-seal 2 envelopes and leave for the front and back covers
-seal 6 envelopes and cut the length of each to 7"
6 large tags cut from cardstock (6 1/4" by 5")
12 papers to cover each side of the envelopes (6" by 4 1/4")
While your busy purchasing all the amazing Christmas papers from the Shop Pumpkin Spice online store, make sure to purchase the December card kit called Wonderland Fun.
Be sure to stop back tomorrow! I'm sharing another Christmas mini album. Hint : matchbook mini.
