Crochet Flowers

I crochet from time to time when I am not paper crafting. I can barely knit or pearl a scarf, but I can crochet a mean flower. Two years ago, on our annual family trip, we made a ton crochet flowers. Then we decorated plain canvas tote bags with them. They turned out so flippin' cute.

Here are some of the flowers I crocheted.

I used different blends of cotton yarn (all from Knit Picks and my mother's stash) in a variety of pink shades. I've made so many crocheted flowers in my life that I don't even use a standard pattern anymore. I just make it up as I go. There are some awesome books full of crochet flower patterns and some great free patterns online too.

I made these crochet flowers for a project I will be posting soon.

  2. Hi Carissa! Just joined your blog and I love your projects! The crochet flowers are lovely, I have wanted to learn how to make those. I knit scarves (that's it, one basic stitch and only scarves!) but I would like to learn to crochet so I can make those adorable flowers! Sabrina
